Director, SEO (Enterprise)
OuterBox is searching for a visionary Director of SEO to steer their expanding Enterprise SEO team and client portfolio. This high-impact leadership role involves managing a team, developing SEO strategies, and collaborating with various departments to enhance client satisfaction and retention.

Responsibilities
Direct and supervise the entire team of Enterprise SEO strategists and team leads, ensuring consistent and top-tier product delivery
Foster a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning aligned to the Boxer Code. Provide mentorship, conduct evaluations, and motivate team members to enhance team performance and individual growth
Conduct regular 1:1 meetings and annual performance reviews with direct reports, providing constructive feedback and setting goals for continuous professional development and growth of team members. Be the source of vision, inspiration, and motivation, while providing constructive feedback to aid in reaching goals
Work with Directors & Director of Talent Management to create coaching and training programs that provide our teammates with opportunities to grow their knowledge
Monitor client satisfaction metrics and work with the account management Client Success team to address escalated issues
Implement client retention strategies and regular feedback mechanisms, using insights to drive continuous improvement while aligning with division leaders to ensure optimal retention outcomes
Adhere to group client retention and growth goals
Support cross-sell and up-sell opportunities across the group
Proactively and consistently collaborate with other media teams and the Client Success team to foster strong client relationships, ensure teammate accountability, and evolve the customer experience for Enterprise-level clients
Work with the Client Success team (and others) to create, measure, and optimize client onboarding, customer service, and communication processes
Ensuring standards are met cross-departmentally is key to success in this role. The Client Success team sets the standard for client excellence. Their example and understanding of business will complement the Service Delivery team’s in-depth performance marketing knowledge
The timing and implementation of change will affect outcomes, and proactive, critical thinking is needed to attain desired results. This leader is actively working with other Group Leaders, having the necessary conversations, and executing on standards
This group’s approach and results will provide Sales and Marketing with material for case studies, webinars, and more. They will collaborate with sales to create and maintain comprehensive explainer materials to support the sales team, enabling them to clearly articulate our services' benefits and unique selling points
Work closely with other departments and directors to ensure comprehensive service integration, addressing potential gaps or areas for improvement
Create, implement, monitor, and refine client communication and department group processes, ensuring alignment with company goals and client needs
Execute in a timely manner, setting the standard of discernment as it relates to urgency, timeliness, communication, and follow-up
This leader will approach processes with scale and future acquisitions in mind., becoming adept at data analysis, tech trends, and pattern recognition to identify and implement efficiencies and scalable solutions (ie. Health & Interactions/ reviewing client satisfaction across 1K+ clients)
Implement, monitor, and refine quality assurance processes to ensure all output meets the company's high standards and client expectations
This leader will be responsible for resource planning across the team
Serve as the top escalation point for high-profile client concerns within the Enterprise Group, ensuring satisfaction and retention
Ensure accurate metrics are consistently reported and reviewed to monitor client sentiment, optimize client satisfaction, and foster trust in our service delivery capabilities

Qualification
Required
Minimum 6+ years of SEO and agency experience
3+ years leading teams to organizational success. You are capable of guiding, coaching, and having constructive conversations
Experience leading strategy for Enterprise-level clients and budgets
Experience with resource planning, execution and management
Ability to use discernment throughout strategy development and execution as to relates to Client goals
Demonstrate expertise & understanding in using spreadsheet functions and formulas to analyze, identify trends, and summarize data
Ability to translate complex information, data, and summarize in a way that's approachable and meaningful to different stakeholders. You can zoom out when necessary to view a project, situation, or challenge holistically to come to the best solution

Knowledge of digital marketing industry as a whole including SEO, SEM, CRO, Email, Web Design & Development

Experience with Google Analytics, Google Ads, Google Search Console, Botify, DeepCrawl, Screaming Frog, SEOClarity, Brightedge and other website analytics and marketing applications
