Responsibilities

Operating, cleaning, and maintaining reactors, pumps, tanks, blenders, and absorbers used in fertilizer production in a safe and environmentally responsible manner
Monitoring and adjusting reactor parameters and equipment settings to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Performing water chemistry analysis and adjusting chemical feed(s) accordingly
Performing routine preventative maintenance, repairs, and calibrations on plant systems
Troubleshooting mechanical or electrical issues to minimize downtime
Conducting basic product tests and inspections to ensure quality standards
Keeping accurate records of production, maintenance, and safety checks
Collaborating with engineers and R&D teams to improve processes and develop new products
Following safety protocols and environmental guidelines to maintain a safe workplace

Strong technical skills

Flexibility and teamwork

Preferred

Associate degree or higher, or a minimum of 5 years of technical training in engineering, physics, mechanics, electrical systems, or a related field
Hands-on experience with tools, machinery, or industrial equipment
Comfortable working with high-pressure systems
Comfortable completing electrical calibrations
Ability to wear a respirator and lift heavy equipment when needed
Forklift or scissor lift experience is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Team-oriented with good communication skills
Willingness to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced startup environment
