California Correctional Health Care Services is dedicated to enhancing public safety and promoting successful community reintegration through various programs. They are seeking a Senior Radiologic Technologist, CF (Specialist) who will perform advanced radiological work, provide lead direction to lower-level staff, and ensure the safety of individuals within the correctional facility.

Responsibilities

Performs the most difficult technical radiological work and provides lead direction to the Radiologic Technologists, CF, lower-level staff, and/or inmate-workers
Maintains order and supervises the conduct of inmates and protects and maintains the safety of persons and property

Radiologic Technologist CertificationRadiologic Techniques ExperienceSupervisory ExperienceTraining Program CompletionCommunication Skills

Required

Possession of a current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the California State Department of Health Services
One year of experience performing the duties of a Radiologic Technologist, Correctional Facility, in the California state service
Three years of experience, including training in radiologic techniques and methods, under an accredited medical radiologist
One year of experience as a radiologic technologist and successful completion of a two-year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association, in collaboration with the American College of Radiology

Benefits

Personal Leave Program 2025 (PLP 2025) requires each full-time employee in Bargaining Unit 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 17, 18, 19, 20, and 21, and related Excluded, Exempt and Statutory Exempt employees, will have their base salary reduced by 3 percent and will receive 5 PLP 2025 leave credits monthly through June 2027.
