Responsibilities

Design & Development: Collaborate with design teams to develop innovative conveyor systems, material handling solutions, and custom products to meet customer needs
Research & Development: Engage in research activities to improve existing technologies and develop new solutions that advance water treatment capabilities
Product Testing & Validation: Conduct product testing to validate designs, ensure safety standards are met, and troubleshoot any issues that arise during the product development phase
Project Management: Oversee project timelines, ensuring that project milestones are met on time and within budget. Coordinate with various departments such as manufacturing, sales, and customer service
Enterprise Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement in engineering design, production, and performance, implementing best practices to enhance overall product quality and efficiency
Documentation & Reporting: Maintain detailed engineering documentation, including design specifications, technical drawings, testing results, and reports

Required

Actively enrolled in an accredited Mechanical/Electrical/Industrial Engineering or related Undergraduate program with an anticipated graduation date of August 2026 or later
Competent interpersonal and communication skills when interacting with others, expressing ideas effectively and professionally to an engineering and non-engineering audience
Capable of taking direction from leadership, mentors, and managers to executive projects
Basic proficiency with technical writing, office automation, software, spreadsheets, technology, and tools
Authorization to work in the United States at the start of the internship

Preferred

Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Proven leadership experience with a track record of motivating teams and driving results under challenging conditions
Strong communication skills with the ability to simplify complex issues and effectively engage diverse stakeholders
Ability to identify, prioritize, and resolve barriers—whether technical, administrative, or resource-related
Highly effective in partnering with site leadership, factory teams, engineering, and other functional groups
Fast learner with a strong bias for speed, innovation, and intelligent risk-taking
Comfortable working in a cross-functional, matrixed organization
