InternParkview Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Summer Intern to join their Medical Simulation team. This internship provides hands-on experience in the technical and educational aspects of medical simulation, assisting in daily operations and facilitating simulation-based training events for healthcare professionals and students.

Responsibilities
Assist in the daily operations and facilitation of simulation-based training events
Help create realistic learning experiences for healthcare professionals and students
Support on-site simulations and work on mobile simulation projects deployed at various Parkview facilities and EMS service locations
Collaborate with the 3D printing team on projects that support simulation and medical training
Learn how to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain simulation equipment, including manikins and supporting technology
Participate in scenario setup and breakdown
Assist with technical support during live simulation events
Qualification
Required
Motivated and detail-oriented
Hands-on opportunity to gain experience in both the technical and educational aspects of medical simulation
Assist in the daily operations and facilitation of simulation-based training events
Help create realistic learning experiences for healthcare professionals and students
Support on-site simulations
Work on mobile simulation projects deployed at various Parkview facilities and EMS service locations
Collaboration with the 3D printing team on projects that support simulation and medical training
Learn how to operate, troubleshoot, and maintain simulation equipment, including manikins and supporting technology

Strong technical understanding
Good computer skills
Willingness to learn new technologies
Current undergraduate college student or graduate college student
GPA of 3.0 or above
Submission of Cover Letter, Resume, and Letter of Recommendation
Preferred
Previous experience with simulation or AV equipment
Specific educational focus or degree may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of the internship
A specific license and/or certification may be preferred, depending on the hosting department of the internship
