Responsibilities

Support the design and documentation of airframe structures, assemblies, and tooling under the guidance of senior engineers
Assist with refining CAD models, drawings, and basic analyses to meet performance and manufacturability requirements
Participate in prototype builds, applying engineering fundamentals to hands-on tasks
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to navigate basic digital documentation and engineering workflows
Physical activities may include standing, walking, lifting, pushing, or carrying heavy objects, sitting for long periods, keyboarding, other computer and desk work, and auto and plane travel as required

Required

Foundational knowledge of mechanical engineering principles, tools, workflows, and best practices for UAV applications
Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and able to navigate basic digital documentation and engineering workflows
Ability to support the design and documentation of airframe structures, assemblies, and tooling under the guidance of senior engineers
Ability to assist with refining CAD models, drawings, and basic analyses to meet performance and manufacturability requirements
Ability to participate in prototype builds, applying engineering fundamentals to hands-on tasks
Ability to perform physical activities including standing, walking, lifting, pushing, or carrying heavy objects, sitting for long periods, keyboarding, and other computer and desk work
Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S., or protected individual as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3)

Preferred

Exposure to composite materials, airframe structures, or lightweight mechanical systems
Familiarity with GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing) and drafting standards
Experience with common CAD tools (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or Creo)
Hands-on prototyping, shop, or lab experience
Exposure may come from coursework, academic projects, internships, or related training
