Responsibilities

Design and validate electrical subsystems that combine performance, reliability, and manufacturability

Own EE deliverables from schematic capture to hardware bring-up, ensuring Rivet devices can withstand real-world operational demands while scaling into mass production

Required

Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Electrical or Computer Engineering

Strong electrical engineering fundamentals with expertise in one or more areas: system integration and validation, power electronics, embedded device communication (GPIO, I2C, UART, SPI, USB), analog design, signal and power integrity, or sensor integration

Hands-on experience with hardware bring-up, validation, and debugging using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, DMMs, power supplies, and electronic loads

Proficiency with schematic capture and constraint-driven PCB layout using Cadence or equivalent tools

1–3+ years of experience designing hardware for mass-produced products with form factor and integration constraints

Proven ability to drive hardware design efforts in a technical lead capacity

Experience integrating sensors or noise-sensitive circuitry into designs

Strong sense of ownership and ability to manage projects independently

Eagerness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges
