High school diploma or equivalent required

BLS healthcare provider is required within 3 months of hire

Strong organizational skill

Computer skills required

Ability to maintain confidential information

Preferred

Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program strongly preferred

Sterile processing training course strongly preferred. On the job training may be provided

Previous sterile processing or instrument technician experience strongly preferred

Certificate of completion from accredited surgical technology program preferred

Sterile Processing Technician from International Association of Healthcare Central Service Material Management (IAHCSMM) or Certification Board for Sterile Processing and Distribution (CBSPD) preferred

SGNA certification preferred
