In this role, you will lead the development and implementation of Python-based solutions for clients in the financial industry, focusing on digital transformation and modernizing technology.

Responsibilities
Leading a Digital Transformation across our Americas Division as we continue to modernize our technology, focus on our data-driven approach, grow, and plan
Develop highly scalable applications in a Python framework
Create and deploy applications in the Azure environment with various interconnected Azure components
Understand and enhance front-end applications using ReactJS, HTML5, and CSS3
Identify and fix bottlenecks that may arise from inefficient code
Knowledge of user authentication and authorization between multiple systems, servers, and environments
Ensure that programs are written to the highest standards (e.g., Unit Tests) and technical specifications
Exposure to Power BI tools is highly desirable
Documentation of the key aspects of the project
Ability to collaborate on projects and work independently when required
Qualification
Required
5+ years of development experience in Python is mandatory
Knowledge of database systems (e.g., SQL, NoSQL) and distributed computing frameworks
Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels
Solid organizational skills, ability to multitask across different projects
Experience with Agile methodologies
Skilled at independently researching topics using all means available to the Client, and relevant information
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Self-starter with the ability to multitask and to maintain momentum
Preferred
Optional experience in Databricks and Azure cloud computing
Exposure to Power BI tools is highly desirable
Prior experience in building VaR systems is desirable
