Part-Time Research Assistant - Grab Lab
The Pennsylvania State University is seeking undergraduate research assistants for the Applied Systems Ecology lab in the department of Entomology. Collaboratively design experimental protocols
Maintain plants and insects used in experiments
Collect and curate data
Assist in the development of smart traps using Raspberry Pi systems
Learn data analysis techniques in R and conduct analyses
Share results of research work with the public, scientific and stakeholder audiences through presentations, written and online communications
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate status
Willingness to assist with plant and insect care
Ability to work 5-10 hours per week with opportunity for more hours during semester breaks
