Required
Ph.D. in Civil Engineering, Geotechnical Engineering, or a closely related field
Demonstrated ability to conduct independent research
Strong record of scholarly publications
Commitment to teaching excellence at the undergraduate and graduate levels
Ability to contribute to the diversity and excellence of the academic community through research, teaching, and service
Preferred
Experience with experimental (laboratory and field), theoretical, computational, and/or data-driven methods
Research interests in resilient geotechnical infrastructure, geological engineering and rock mechanics, and geotechnics and geomechanics for sustainable energy production
