Pediatric Occupational Therapist, Clinic-Based

Gracent is seeking a passionate Occupational Therapist to join their North Shore Pediatric Therapy team, providing personalized therapy in a collaborative clinic setting. The role involves designing treatment programs to empower children and working closely with an interdisciplinary team to ensure holistic care and support for each child's unique needs.

Responsibilities

Design and administer treatment programs to increase independence in ADLs, routines, play, and feeding
Make cross-referrals to other disciplines as needed
Address executive functioning, attention, and fine/gross motor coordination
Create home programs and coach families to implement them
Collaborate with doctors, teachers, and pediatric specialists for coordinated care
Maintain detailed progress notes and adjust treatment plans as needed

Required

Master's degree in Occupational Therapy and Illinois state license in good standing
Experience or strong interest in pediatrics, including ADLs, daily routines, play, and feeding
Ability to sit, stand, bend, and walk regularly; lift up to 45 lbs
Adequate vision and hearing for written and verbal communication
Comfort working in an environment with moderate noise levels
