Responsibilities

Development of project work element plans and JSAs
Coordinate project definable features of work with Manson superintendents, foremen, craft workers, and subcontractors
Computer Aided Drafting for analysis of lift equipment capabilities and depiction of work method sequencing
Critical path scheduling and 3 week look ahead scheduling
Review designs, drawings, and engineering data prepared by Manson consultants and vendors for conformance with project plans and specifications, and identify associated conflicts
Investigation and research for needed permanent and consumable material items, equipment, and tools
Inspection of newly delivered permanent materials for conformance with project requirements
Coordinate project activities with the client’s representatives and other project stakeholders
Falsework Design
Monitor of Manson and its subcontractors’ operations
Daily operations and quality control reporting
Project photographic records
General project support
Ensures compliance with Manson’s Code of Ethics and Standards of Business Conduct
Responsible for practicing safe work standards and promoting an Incident and Injury Free (IIF) work environment as a condition of employment

Required

Bachelor's degree (B.S.) in Engineering (Civil, Coastal, Ocean or Mechanical) or Construction Management, from a four-year college or university
5 years' experience required
Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable driving record
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) required
Position is primarily a field position, and will require travel
Employee must be able to wear the personal protective equipment (PPE) required of various construction work environments (hard hats, personal flotation devices, safety glasses, gloves, safety-toed shoes, respirators, etc.)
The employee is required to stand, walk, use stairs, ladders, and step stools and reach with hands and arms
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds and may occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Must be able to navigate stairs, ladders and gangways, board, work on and disembark floating vessels and structures
The noise level is moderate to loud
The employee may be required to sit for extended periods of time

Preferred

Marine Construction Industry experience preferred
Successful completion of Fundamentals of Engineering Exam (FE) and current registration as an Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred
Experience with scheduling, estimating and project management software - HCSS & Primavera, preferred
