The Washer Loader Glass Shop role involves performing repetitive assembly operations to mass-produce windows in Vinyl or Aluminum plants, including tasks such as removing glass from carts, setting glass on conveyor belts, and ensuring equipment maintenance.

Responsibilities

Removes glass from A-Frame Cart or Rack

Sets glass on conveyor belt of washer

Picks up specific LowE glass and runs all four sides through an edge delete table before setting on washer conveyor

Changes the water filters on the washer as needed

Flushes the water tanks at the end of each shift/day

Changes the air filters on the washer as needed

Tests the LowE detector at the beginning of each shift

Delivers carts to Glass Washer

Ensures that equipment used is operable and maintained

May be required to works at different work stations as production needs require

Works in environment where tasks change as varying models of product are produced

Cleans equipment, floors, and work areas according to safety procedures

May be required to work overtime as business needs require

Other duties may be assigned
