Site Video Director

Crossroads Church is a growing multi-site, interdenominational church located in Ohio and Kentucky, with an online presence serving thousands. The Site Video Director oversees live technical elements for events, collaborates with staff and volunteers, and ensures smooth technical transitions while maintaining equipment and training others.

Responsibilities

Operating and programming necessary equipment for services or events
Troubleshooting technical systems as needed
Participation in production team meetings
Ensuring smooth technical transitions throughout the service, identifying areas for improvement
Working with the site experience team to adapt and execute changes following the run-through
Training technical volunteers
Performing routine maintenance of AVL systems (hardware and software)
Planning and execution of special services and events
Participating in other projects such as video shoots, concerts, student ministry events, and camps as needed

Required

High School Diploma
Minimum 3 years professional video experience
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks
Knowledge of the Google web platform and willingness to learn other software tools as needed
Organized, disciplined with priorities, meticulous attention to detail
Extensive working knowledge of live event technical systems in one or more areas of discipline (audio, rigging, programming, etc.)
Extensive experience in on & off-site technical support for live production systems with an excellent ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
Driven & independent worker with a high attention to detail and a desire for excellence
Must be able to walk up to 5 miles, standing, climbing, lifting, carrying, reaching, stooping and crouching as duties required
Must be able to lift 25 to 50 lbs
Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekdays, weekends, and other high-impact events at Crossroads
Mission Oriented: Committed to the Crossroads mission and expectations in the staff 'I Promise' document, including using the Bible as the ultimate standard of truth, practicing spiritual disciplines, tithing, and pursuing personal purity
Availability: Expected to work outside of 'normal' schedule for All Hands on Deck high-impact events (Holy Week/Easter, Super Bowl, Christmas, others as needed), participate in all-staff meetings, day of solitude, offsites, etc

Preferred

College degree or equivalent field experience preferred
Proficiency In Several Of The Following: Mac OS X, Ross Video systems, Propresenter, Resolume, ProVideoPlayer, or other media servers, Qlab, IP Communications, Signal flow and routing, Broadcast Video
