Responsibilities
Builds strong relationships with potential and existing clients to identify and meet their insurance needs
Promotes teamwork by maintaining a positive and respectful attitude with colleagues
Collaborates with underwriters and other internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and timely policy issuance
Demonstrates strong communication skills through effective verbal and/or written exchanges, active listening and respectful response
Maintains accurate records of customer interactions & sales activity through the Agency’s CRM system
Maintains confidentiality of all information related to clients, employees, carriers, or as appropriate, other information
Strives to increase knowledge and/or enhance skills through continuing education by attending industry events, conferences, trade shows, etc as well as participating in regular sales training & other professional development activities
Qualification
Required
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
A passion for sales and helping clients find the right coverage
A self-starter who thrives on achieving goals
Prior experience in insurance or sales is a plus, but we are ready to train the right candidate!
High School Diploma or GED
Insurance License
Preferred
Bachelor's degree from a college or technical school with a focus on business, marketing, or related field
Minimum of 3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
Prior insurance sales experience
