MRI Tech Aide

RadNet is a leading provider of radiology services, dedicated to delivering quality patient care. They are seeking a Remote Operations Command Centers (ROCC) Technical Assistant to assist MRI Technologists and Radiologists in ensuring optimal MRI safety and patient care during examinations.

Responsibilities

Provide assistance to MRI Steering Technologist, Radiologists and/or administrative staff to provide optimal MRI safety and patient care
Convey patient history to the MRI Technologist for accurate MRI safety, assist MRI Technologists to ensure MRI safety, coil positioning, patient screening and/or history and patient observation during exams
Support technologists with procedures as needed; which includes the set-up of coils, schedule maintenance, and/or clean-up of MRI suite
Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information
Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements
Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals
Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers
Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions
Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting
Demonstrates ability to establish, nurture, and maintain cooperative working relationships

Qualification

BLS certificationMR Technologist Assistant programMedical setting experienceInterpersonal skillsCommunication skills

Required

High school diploma or equivalent
BLS certification
At least one year experience in medical setting
Completion of approved MR Technologist Assistant program, including hands-on clinical training
Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, public relations and verbal and written communication
Must be able to assist in lifting patients onto table
