They are offering a hands-on internship opportunity for an Injection Molding Process Engineer Intern to work alongside experienced engineers, optimizing molding processes and improving tooling performance while gaining exposure to real-world manufacturing challenges.

Responsibilities
Support process engineers with mold setup, troubleshooting, and optimization
Assist in collecting and analyzing process data to improve cycle time, yield, and quality
Work with CAD and metrology tools to evaluate mold designs and parts
Help implement process monitoring systems and document standard operating procedures
Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement activities on the production floor
Analyze molding cycle data to recommend efficiency improvements
Test new mold materials or coatings and report on performance
Document best practices for mold setup and maintenance
Design simple fixtures to support part handling and quality inspection
Qualification
Required
Currently pursuing a degree in Plastics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
Familiarity with injection molding fundamentals and process control concepts
Comfort working with CAD tools (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or similar)
Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Detail-oriented, hands-on, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment
