Mid LevelRossen Media is the parent company of the nationally-syndicated consumer franchise Rossen Reports, founded by award-winning journalist Jeff Rossen. They are seeking an experienced Consumer News Producer to run their growing YouTube Live show, focusing on producing consumer news segments that help audiences save money.
Media Production
Responsibilities
Generate and develop daily consumer story ideas that fit the Rossen Reports brand
Research trends, scams, product comparisons, and news alerts
Write scripts and segment notes for a live, fast-moving show
Assist with field shoots and operate small cameras (including iPhone)
Perform light editing for clips and social cut-downs
Work closely with Jeff Rossen and the Rossen Media team to innovate show format and audience engagement
Qualification
Required
Journalism, broadcast, or digital media background required
Strong editorial judgment with a nose for timely, impactful consumer stories
Ability to write clear, punchy copy under deadline pressure
Hands-on experience with small cameras (iPhone, DSLR, etc) and light editing software
Self-starter, resourceful, and adaptable in a fast-growing, startup-style environment
Comfortable working independently and collaborating virtually
