Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance

Oakland University is seeking an Assistant Athletic Director for Compliance to coordinate athletic rules and compliance for the athletic department. The role involves serving as part of the administrative team and ensuring adherence to NCAA regulations and university policies.

Perform all job duties in a manner consistent with NCAA conference and University rules, regulations, ordinances, policies, procedures and guidelines

Qualification

NCAA compliance experienceSupervisory experienceTeamworks Compliance softwareOrganizational skillsCommunication skills

Required

Bachelors degree or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience
A minimum of three (3) years' experience in NCAA Division I intercollegiate athletics compliance plus supervisory/management experience
Perform all job duties in a manner consistent with NCAA conference and University rules, regulations, ordinances, policies, procedures and guidelines
Excellent organizational and analytical skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Ability to communicate effectively with others

Preferred

Master's and/or Juris Doctorate degrees
Experience with Teamworks Compliance and Recruiting software
