Fraud Lead
AtoB is modernizing the payments infrastructure for trucking and logistics. As a Fraud Lead, you will develop data-driven strategies for fraud prevention and loss mitigation while building and leading a team to ensure the business remains profitable and protected from bad actors.

Responsibilities
Develop and implement a comprehensive fraud prevention framework across the entire lending lifecycle (application, disbursement, repayment)
Design and maintain key fraud metrics and dashboards; monitor real-time fraud signals and emerging patterns
Evaluate, implement, and optimize third-party fraud solutions (e.g., identity verification, device fingerprinting, behavioral analytics)
Create and continuously refine fraud policies, procedures, and escalation workflows
Partner with underwriting, compliance, operations, and engineering to ensure risk controls are embedded in product flows without unnecessary friction
Lead investigations into suspicious activity, coordinate with internal stakeholders, and recommend mitigation or recovery actions
Ensure fraud practices adhere to U.S. federal and state lending regulations (e.g., Fair Lending, GLBA, CFPB guidance)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of experience in fraud management, risk operations, or related roles in fintech, lending, or financial services
Strong understanding of U.S. SMB-lending fraud typologies, including identity theft, synthetic identities, account takeover, and payment fraud
Experience with fraud detection technologies and data analysis (SQL, Python, or similar analytics tools)
Ability to design policies and processes balancing risk mitigation with customer experience
Excellent problem-solving, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Finance, Economics, Data Analytics) or equivalent experience
