Responsibilities
Carry out all responsibilities in a supportive manner with total adherence to: The Company’s Health, Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures, Quality Management System, Compliance and Ethics Policies, Vision, Mission and Strategy, and exercises good judgment, common sense, and diplomacy
Manage and ensure quality requirements as stated in the laboratory Quality Manual
Responsible for manpower requirements, projections, and utilization and employee work assignments
Responsible for all equipment calibration, supplies, area efficiency, productivity, and development
Ensure invoicing is submitted timely
Assist sales, etc. with quotes, tours, promoting sales and customer service
Perform testing on a variety of products to established procedures as required
Responsible for the training of less experienced employees
Qualification
Required
A Bachelor's Degree, or Technologist Diploma with relevant work experience; in a related science or engineering field
Minimum 3 years of laboratory type work experience
1 year supervisory experience is an asset
Working knowledge of the principles and practices of manufacturing systems
Ability to communicate and interact effectively in both verbal and written format
Strong knowledge of Windows based products including data analysis
Positive attitude, a high tolerance for job pressure and long hours, and the ability for working and communicating with persons of diverse personalities and backgrounds
Valid driver's license and reliable driving record is required
