Responsibilities

Performs all job responsibilities of a Diagnostic Technologist
Performs or assists Clinical Specialist in performing QA, regulatory testing, and other technical and research initiatives
Monitors quality control activities and demonstrates advanced-level knowledge in Diagnostic Imaging
Demonstrates competency in specialty equipment (O.R., Fluoro Procedures, etc.) and analyzes data promptly
Performs electrocardiograms and lab draw functions, if applicable
Demonstrates the ability to function independently, and is able to cover off-shifts, on-call responsibilities, and perform services at satellite facilities, where applicable, while continually communicating with lead and management team
Participates in standardization activities with system-level workgroups
Works directly with Radiologists regarding protocol development
Assist with the training of staff and student technologists

Required

Graduate of an ARRT-approved school of Radiologic Technology
2 years of Diagnostic experience required
Must have obtained a performance review rating of Good Performer on most recent performance review to be eligible for promotion
ARRT Certificate
Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
CPR required based on AHA standards that include both a didactic and skills demonstration component within 30 days of hire
Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
Act 33 with renewal
Act 34 with renewal
Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal

Preferred

Diagnostic Technologist-level experience may be considered
