Responsibilities

Lead full-cycle renovation projects for occupied affordable housing communities nationwide

Manage, mentor, and provide strategic oversight to a team of project managers and construction staff

Participate in due diligence and pre-acquisition assessments to scope renovation needs

Oversee contractor bidding, selection, budgeting, phasing, and compliance requirements

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to high-quality standards

Partner cross-functionally with asset management, operations, and development teams

Required

10+ years of multifamily construction experience, including 5+ years leading renovations in occupied affordable housing

Proven leadership skills with direct team management experience

Strong knowledge of renovation logistics, cost control, contracts, and phasing strategies

Familiarity with LIHTC, Section 8, HUD, and compliance requirements

Proficiency with construction/project management tools (Procore, MS Project, Excel, etc.)

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
