They are seeking an entry level engineer or scientist with an interest in environmental compliance to work on civil/environmental engineering projects including solid waste management and landfill design.

Responsibilities
Prepare plans and specifications
Perform engineering design calculations
Analyze reports, maps, drawings, environmental data, and aerial photographs
Prepare environmental monitoring plans
Draft construction plans using AutoCAD and CIVIL 3D
Prepare construction cost estimations
Collect and/or review environmental monitoring data (air, gas, stormwater, groundwater)
Prepare environmental reports
Oversee construction projects to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, Chemical, or Geological Engineering
F.E. (Fundamentals of Engineering) Completion required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Solid organizational and time management skills
Self-disciplined/motivated individual who also works well in a team environment
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Unwavering personal integrity
Preferred
Experience in a civil or environmental engineering role preferred (e.g., internship and/or co-operative experiences)
Experience in landfill design, permitting, or environmental monitoring
Knowledge of environmental regulations a plus
