Responsibilities
Provide advice and negotiation support in connection with a broad range of commercial transactions to client account/sales teams
Provide ongoing advice to account teams regarding legal and commercial implications of specific terms and conditions in contracts
Document, track, review and report on contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms and to identify issues, conflicts or changes requiring resolution
Regularly support the DXC business with company wide data requests regarding specific aspects of all contracts for which the CM is responsible
Maintain deadlines on deliverables and communicate on an ongoing basis with business partners and internal clients about contractual issues
Develop and maintain knowledge of the supported clients’ business strategies as well as continuously learning about current and new technologies
Support other Contract Managers and Account teams where and as availability allows
Qualification
Required
BA/BS required (or regional equivalent education). JD a plus
8+ years drafting and negotiating contracts. Outsourcing/information technology contracts experience also a plus
Preferred
Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Daily engagement with both DXC and customer business people will be required
Ability to provide guidance/interpretation on existing contract provisions
Understand basic principles of commercial finance
Good understanding of contracting/risk issues, as they apply to technology consulting services industry
