As a Network Engineer III, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Assist in designing, configuring, and maintaining LAN/WAN/wireless networks, including hardware like routers, switches, firewalls, VPNs, and VLANs
Monitor network performance, resolve connectivity and latency issues, and perform disaster recovery, backups, and restores
Collaborate on implementing security measures (firewalls, IDS, access controls), ensure change management compliance, and maintain detailed documentation
Support administrators and developers, guide junior team members, and contribute to capacity planning and network expansion
Evaluate new networking technologies, maintain inventory and warranty data, and manage voice/data circuits and cabling

Required

Bachelor's degree in MIS or Computer Science preferred
minimum 7 years of experience as a Network Engineer
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP)
network security principles
hands-on experience with Cisco, Juniper, and tools like Cisco IOS, ACS, WCS, WLC, MARS, and Stealth Watch
Excellent problem-solving abilities
effective communication
strong collaboration skills in fast-paced environments
CCNP Routing and Switching required

Preferred

CCNP Wireless or CCNP Voice preferred
