They are seeking a Senior MIS Manager to lead the MIS team in developing and maintaining global information systems, translating user requirements into application design, and improving business processes through effective project management and technology integration.

Responsibilities

Lead MIS team to develop and maintain global information systems to support organizational objectives
Translate and map user requirements into database and software application design
Fully understand the business process and implement new features according to the user requirement
Create project plans to work on requirements from internal users and customers
Be able to identify the root cause and create an overall plan for the process improvement instead of only fixing the issues identified
Resolve customer support issues
Set up the training and knowledge sharing within the MIS team
Interface with other departments and customers
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend their integration or automation to enhance business processes
Define project objectives, deliverables, and performance metrics
Be a good problem solver
Be able to manage multiple projects

Required

Bachelor's degree in computer science or similar professional fields
Minimum 5 years of MIS/Software team management experiences
Minimum 8 years database application design and/or implementation experience in ERP/MRP
Strong leadership in managing and coaching the team
Familiar with software development
Experience in Oracle and Microsoft SQL Server Database
Experience working in a rapid development environment
Strong written and oral communications skills

Preferred

Deployment and development experience in SAP is a plus
