Responsibilities
Performing all tasks assigned in the manufacture of fiberglass swimming pools while maintaining a clean work area and adhering to all safety and quality standards
The duties and responsibilities of this position varies by the station the employee is put on
They range from spraying gel coats and resins to rolling fiberglass and hand laying fiberglass mat and composite reinforcements as well as using razor knives and other sharp instruments to cut materials and other duties as assigned
Climbing and working at heights of up to 10 ft. required
May be operating machinery including forklifts
Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, full face respirator, gloves, safety shoes, harness and/or protective outerwear are required
Exposure to dust, odors/fumes, heat (dependent upon weather conditions) and noise is typical
Qualification
Required
Ability to work in a safe manner utilizing PPE as required
Ability to stand for prolonged times as well as frequent bending, reaching, stooping, overhead work and lifting up to forty (40) pounds
Must be able to work mandatory overtime, including some weekends
Preferred
Fiberglass/composite manufacturing experience is preferred but not required
Other desirable qualifications include experience in construction and/or tile installation
