IT System Administrator (TS/SCI with Polygraph)
Red Alpha is a company focused on providing mission-critical support to elite customers. They are seeking an IT System Administrator to assist with the installation, configuration, and integration of systems and applications into client IT environments, including cloud and network infrastructures.

Responsibilities
Support our mission critical prime program by assisting with the installation, configuration, and integration of new systems/applications into client IT environments
Understanding of fundamental networking concepts (IP addressing, DNS, subnets)
Understanding and Experience with LDAP/Active Directory structure and authentication
SSL/TLS certificate usage and basic management
Awareness of security best practices (e.g., user permissions, patching)
Understanding of basic cloud computing concepts (IaaS, PaaS)
Familiarity with AWS components such as EC2, IAM, and S3
Basic knowledge of Docker (images, containers, volumes)
Awareness of Kubernetes and how container orchestration works
Ability to perform system health checks and basic troubleshooting
Comfortable using system logs and monitoring tools
Familiar with documenting procedures and resolutions
Ability to interact with clients and internal teams professionally
Strong communication and problem-solving skills
Willingness to learn and adapt to changing client environments
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced technical environment
Willingness to work off-hours occasionally for updates or incident resolution
Exposure to Git or version control systems
Experience using command-line interfaces (CLI)
Interest in automation or infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
Qualification
Required
5+ years of professional experience in IT including 3+ years experience in system administration
A Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science or a related technical discipline from an accredited institution
Active TS/SCI with Polygraph
Eagerness to learn and grow in a fast-paced technical environment
Willingness to work off-hours occasionally for updates or incident resolution
Exposure to Git or version control systems
Experience using command-line interfaces (CLI)
Interest in automation or infrastructure-as-code (e.g., Ansible, Terraform)
