They are seeking experienced Swim Group Fitness Instructors to lead engaging lap swimming-based classes, ensuring safety and inclusivity for all fitness levels.

Responsibilities

Teaches a minimum of two weekly classes

Lead safe, effective, and high-energy lap swim classes

Provide modifications and progressions as needed

Engage with members before and after class to build continuously build community

Ensure a safe environment through proper supervision and use of equipment

Collaborate with the Group Fitness Manager to maintain programming excellence

Qualification

Certified Group Fitness InstructorAqua-specific certificationCPR/AED certificationPrevious experience teaching aqua classesInterpersonal skillsCommunication skills

Required

Certified Group Fitness Instructor (ACE, AFAA, or equivalent)

CPR/AED certification (required or willing to obtain)

Previous experience teaching aqua or water fitness classes

Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Preferred

Aqua-specific certification (AEA, SCW, Masters, USAT or equivalent)
