Flinn Scientific, Inc. is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Procurement Intern to join their Global Supply Chain team this summer. This internship offers hands-on experience in procurement, inventory management, and vendor coordination while supporting key supply chain operations across the organization.

Education

Responsibilities

Assist with researching and setting up new vendors, requesting and comparing quotes, and creating purchase orders

Reach out to suppliers to track order status, follow up on deliveries, and help resolve any issues that may arise

Help monitor inventory levels, support physical inventory counts, and reconcile discrepancies

Support shipping and receiving processes, including tracking incoming orders and assisting with customs or freight coordination

Maintain accurate procurement and inventory records, and help clean and analyze supply chain data to identify trends or areas for improvement

Partner with purchasing, operations, and finance teams to keep supply chain processes running smoothly

Participate in short-term supply chain improvement initiatives as assigned

Required

Currently enrolled in a bachelor's program in Supply Chain, Business, Accounting, or a related field

Strong attention to detail, with solid problem-solving and communication skills

Comfortable working with Excel; familiarity with purchasing systems or databases is a plus

Willingness to learn, take initiative, and contribute to team success

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
