Tenet Healthcare is seeking a Certified Surgical Tech to join their surgical team. The OR Technician will be responsible for managing instrumentation, equipment, and supplies for surgical procedures, assisting with patient care during operations, and participating in the on-call schedule.

Responsibilities

Assumes the responsibility for a surgical specialty, serving as the main resource person for instrumentation, equipment, supplies, and procedures within the assigned specialty
Functions under the direction of the RN, assisting with the intraoperative care of patients by performing in the scrub role during surgical procedures
Picks supplies/instruments for cases, puts away supplies and equipment, decontaminates instruments, and stocks supplies in OR rooms
Functions on all surgical procedures and participates in the on-call schedule as assigned

Required

High School Diploma/GED (±11 years)
Experience as an OR Technician or in a similar role
Ability to function on all surgical procedures
Ability to assist with intraoperative care of patients
Ability to perform in the scrub role during surgical procedures
Ability to pick supplies/instruments for cases
Ability to decontaminate instruments
Ability to stock supplies in OR rooms
Willingness to participate in the on-call schedule as assigned
