Assistant or Associate Professor of Instruction, Klesse College of Engineering and Integrated Design (KCEID), School of Architecture and Planning

They are seeking an Assistant or Associate Professor of Instruction to contribute to the Interior Design program by teaching, participating in curriculum development, and engaging with students and the local design industry.

Responsibilities
Teaching 12 credit hours in both fall and spring semesters
Actively participate in the Interior Design Curriculum Committee
Actively engage prospective students at UT San Antonio events
Develop relationships with local design industry
Oversees the Material Lab
Interior Design student club Advisor
Qualification
Required
Master's degree in design, interior design, or architecture from an accredited institution
Three (3) years teaching experience within a Council for Interior Design Accreditation (CIDA) program
National Council for Interior Design Qualification (NCIDQ) licensed
This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure
Preferred
Experience with teaching upper-level studios with integration of content related to the building industry
Experience with teaching variety of lecture courses
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and communicate effectively and with clarity
Minimum of three (3) years in professional practice, preferably in Texas
