Responsibilities
Collaborate with Designer and Engineers to design new product parts and assemblies
Develop, oversee and execute tests, both electrical and mechanical according to project schedules
Interpret, analyze and summarize data, identify trends, prepare reports and formulate conclusions
Work with laboratory team members to perform tests
Use formal problem-solving techniques to address quality and reliability issues
Interact with customers on the phone or in the field to resolve design, manufacturing or application related issues
Evaluate and provide detailed, written engineering reports on returned products
Deliver sign solutions that allow for stable and capable manufacturing processes which meet targets for safety, quality, delivery and cost
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field (this is Electrical focused ideally)
7 years minimum of product support, design and development experience
Good electrical/mechanical aptitude to be able to aid in the design and testing of fuse products
Good communication skills, written and spoken in order to clearly present ideas in a variety of forums
Excellent problem-solving skills
Very strong interpersonal and organizational skills to work with team members at all levels across the organization
Strong PC skills including Microsoft Office Suite proficiency
