The Process Engineer will encourage a culture focused on effective project delivery by supporting clients and project teams in the facilitation and coordination of equipment and processes.
Construction
Responsibilities
Leads project teams including owner, design team, and trade partners with an integrated approach to achieving scope, schedule and budget alignment
Responsible for establishing an integrated team experience through role clarity, effective communication strategy, and facilitating a culture that fosters collaboration
Facilitate and collaborate with internal departments and project teams
Facilitate cross-functional collaboration during design, construction, commissioning, and start-up
Facilitate design/engineering and decision planning with the construction team, design team, and owner
Manage, mentor and guide design team members and preconstruction team members to ensure clear direction and execution
Manage, mentor and guide design assist trade partners to ensure effective integration with the project team
Work with project teams to develop conceptual process design/engineering solutions for industrial pursuits
Review design team’s specifications, drawings, and P&IDs
Ensure design meets owner’s needs, quality, and program
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, or other equivalent field
Minimum of 7 years of relevant experience
Ability and willingness to travel
Passionate about leading change and improving industry processes
Strong organizational and project management skills
Ability to speak confidently in groups of 30+
Ability to coach complex and diverse groups
Ability and desire to master new skills
Preferred
4+ years experience in group facilitation and implementing collaborative delivery
Specific experience in industrial management design
Specific experience in process layout, process design, cleanroom, food and beverage, packaging
Strong CAD, Plant 3D, Navisworks, and Revit capability
