Responsibilities

Create detailed operation sheets and CNC programs to produce high-precision machined parts and sub-assemblies
Define manufacturing sequences, tooling, gauging, and machine requirements to streamline production
Work closely with engineering, quality, production, and vendors to resolve issues and enhance manufacturability
Be hands-on in the production environment, assisting with program prove-outs and troubleshooting
Recommend and implement process enhancements, tooling upgrades, and design modifications
Assist in estimating costs and timelines for new proposals and tooling development

Required

A Bachelor's degree in a technical field with 3+ years of relevant professional experience, or an Associate degree with 6+ years of relevant professional experience, or a High School Diploma/GED with 8+ years of proven professional experience
3+ CNC programming experience using CAD/CAM software
Strong knowledge of process engineering from raw material to finished product
Hands-on experience with machine setup and operation
Excellent communication and documentation skills to work effectively across departments

Preferred

A degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Industrial Engineering
Background in the aerospace industry
Experience with machine automation integration
Skills in inspection of machined parts
Hands-on experience machining stainless steel, titanium, and aluminum
Proficiency in CNC Programming using Siemens NX
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles; Lean Six Sigma certification is a plus
