Responsibilities
Define and execute strategic sourcing plans for assigned commodities, utilizing deep market analysis and cost structure insights to secure competitive advantage and meet quality targets
Drive measurable cost reduction and risk mitigation by leading complex supplier negotiations, analyzing commodity cost drivers, and establishing robust contingency plans against supply disruptions
Manage and develop strategic global supplier relationships, overseeing contract compliance, performance metrics, and actively driving initiatives for continuous improvement
Act as the key supply chain partner for Operations, R&D, and Product Management, providing critical input for material and supplier selection during New Product Introduction (NPI) processes
Optimize supply chain operations by leveraging ERP systems and procurement platforms to accurately forecast inventory, manage contracts, and track essential supplier performance (KPIs)
Qualification
Required
Deep knowledge of global supply chains, commodity markets, and strategic sourcing methodologies, particularly within technology or complex operational component environments
Proven negotiation and supplier management expertise with a track record of driving significant cost savings and continuous improvements in supplier quality and delivery
Strong analytical and financial acumen to expertly assess commodity cost structures, evaluate supply risk, and make data-driven procurement decisions
Ability to collaborate, influence, and build consensus across diverse internal stakeholders (e.g., Engineering, Finance, R&D) to shape and execute long-term supply strategies
Proficiency with enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and modern procurement tools for accurate forecasting, contract management, and performance tracking
