Responsibilities
Prepares and reviews federal, state and local income tax workpapers and returns using OneSource Income Tax with a focus on accuracy and timeliness
Work with income tax accountant with monthly analysis of fixed assets and calculation of tax depreciation
Assist with preparation of the half-year and annual income tax provision in accordance with ASC 740
Assist with the preparation of estimated payments and submitting payments online
Assist with audits as required
Participate in special projects and responsibilities as assigned
Assist other department members as needed
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Accounting with 3-5 years of related experience
Tax Compliance experience required
Basic to intermediate knowledge and abilities with Excel
Ability to be a team player and is customer service driven
Ability to complete work in advance of deadlines
Self motivated with good organizational, planning, and prioritizing skills
Desire to learn and excel
Able to perform research using on-line tax law databases
Good presentation and communication skills
Preferred
CPA preferred
ASC 740 experience preferred
Knowledge with Onesource and Alteryx preferred but not required
