PRN Radiologic Technologist
BoulderCentre for Orthopedics & Spine is committed to exceptional patient care, and they are seeking a PRN Radiologic Technologist to join their team. In this role, you'll perform diagnostic radiological studies, ensuring high-quality imaging for physician review and diagnosis while collaborating with healthcare providers to enhance patient care.

Responsibilities
Conducts patient interviews to gather relevant medical history and ensure procedural safety
Implements radiation protection measures to minimize radiation exposure to patients and healthcare staff
Participates in quality assurance programs to ensure the accuracy and reliability of imaging equipment and procedures
Provides patient education on imaging procedures, including preparation instructions and potential risks
Collaborates with radiologists and other healthcare providers to review imaging results and assist in patient diagnosis and treatment planning
Maintains accurate patient records, including imaging studies, procedural details, and patient outcomes
Assists in the development and implementation of new imaging protocols and techniques to improve diagnostic accuracy and patient care
Participates in continuing education and training to stay current with advancements in radiologic technology and patient care practices
Provides support during emergency and trauma situations, assisting with imaging procedures as needed to aid in patient evaluation and management
Qualification
Required
Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology
Registry with ARRT (active)
Must be CPR certified within six (6) months of hire date and maintain certification
Successful completion of Radiation Safety standardized test (Colorado)
Possesses comprehensive knowledge of human anatomy and physiology, identifying abnormal anatomy
Performs radiology exams with precision, ensuring optimal scanning, photography, and documentation
Demonstrates expertise in handling radiographic equipment to maintain safety standards
Assists physicians during intra-operative imaging procedures
Proficient in imaging techniques and their functional applications
Maintains sterility and takes corrective action if breached
Responds promptly to changing work conditions, managing competing demands effectively
Capable of interpreting technical instructions for safe equipment operation
Skilled in imaging storage and reproduction
Prioritizes patient safety in radiation environments
Adheres to strict hand hygiene and patient privacy protocols, including HIPAA regulations
Preferred
One year of Radiology Technologist experience preferred
