Responsibilities
Support the kitchen manager in daily operations
Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently
Prepare ingredients to use in cooking (knead dough, make fillings, and handle raw materials)
Follow standard procedure (SOP) to prepare and cook food
Ensure all food and other items are stored properly
Monitor stock and place orders when there are shortages
Clean and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, appliances and workstations
Follow standard recipes and special diet orders
Adhere to all sanitation and food production codes
Fast-paced dish cleaning

Qualification
Required
Ability to lift items over 30 lbs
Preferred
Past experiences working as a cook, chef, or in a similar role within a high-volume production kitchen or food service environment preferred
Fluency in English and Spanish is a plus
