Responsibilities

Supervising designers and engineers while managing a diverse range of municipal projects
Overseeing a team of professional and technical personnel engaged in engineering tasks
Preparation of proposals, work estimates, studies, and reports
Supporting the establishment and execution of departmental goals
Supervising the creation of intricate designs, plans, specifications, and budgets related to various engineering services
Managing extensive civil engineering domains such as roadways, traffic systems, water resources, storm drainage, and sanitation
Offering contract City Engineer services

Qualification

Required

Proven work experience as a Civil Engineering Supervisor or similar role for 10+ years
Experience with Municipal projects
Proficient in design software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and other relevant software
Knowledge of construction procedures, equipment, and OSH guidelines
Ability to read, interpret, and create technical documents and drawings
Strong project management skills
Presence in the community through conferences, proposal interviews, city planning meetings, and other state business events
BS degree in Civil Engineering or relevant field
Possess a Professional Engineering (PE) license
