Expeditor Tooling Specialist

They are seeking an Expeditor Tooling Specialist to interface and support various stakeholders with tool control and accountability, maintain government property records, and provide data support for audits.

Responsibilities

Interface and support all Bell facilities, suppliers, and government agencies with tool control and tool accountability data, reports and schedule packages
Determine and perform processes from systems and tooling databases to create, track and maintain systems to control, protect, and preserve Government/BHTI owned tooling assets
Create, track and maintain tooling scrap schedules
Maintain the official government property records under the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and the terms and conditions of the Government contract by researching tool usage requirements, updating Federal Condition Codes and reporting the status for various internal departments
Provide data support for the annual Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) audits
Coordinate with M.E. Projects for the maintenance and creation of tooling Work Orders
Screen 'SET-POOL' tools and transfer to active government contracts
Direct all contract closing activities on tooling inventories along with the transfer to follow on contracts
Coordinate with Supply Chain Management and/or Government Property Accounting with the accuracy of the supplier tooling inventory audits and update the tooling databases
Direct and update necessary changes to the tooling databases based upon internal tooling inventories and discrepancies
Provide Planning Departments with 'Lost Tool Notifications'
Perform all duties within the position of a Tool Expeditor

Required

Candidate must possess at least two years college education or equivalent working experience with a general knowledge of Special Tooling (ST) applications and Manufacturing Engineering processes
Candidate must be able to apply Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) to BHTI policies and procedures
Ability to handle responsibilities and problem solve with minimum supervision
Good oral and written communication skills
Applicant must be proficient in Bell tooling databases and Microsoft Office applications
Must be multi-tasked oriented
