Responsibilities

Assist in managing a diverse caseload including insurance subrogation, catastrophic loss, and product liability cases
Conduct legal research and draft legal documents including pleadings, motions, and briefs
Prepare cases for trial, including witness preparation and assembling evidence
Attend court proceedings and represent clients during hearings and trials
Collaborate with senior attorneys on case strategy and legal strategy development
Communicate with clients to provide updates and gather necessary information
Analyze case law and legal trends relevant to assigned cases
Assist in the preparation of settlement negotiations and mediations

Qualification

Juris Doctor (JD)Texas State Bar membershipInsurance subrogationLegal researchCivil litigation experienceCommunication skillsInterpersonal skillsTeam collaboration

Required

Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
Active membership in the Texas State Bar
Strong understanding of insurance subrogation, premises liability, and mass tort cases
Excellent legal research and writing skills
Ability to analyze complex legal issues and provide sound legal advice
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment

Preferred

1-3 years of experience in insurance defense and civil litigation preferred
