Alert Alarm Hawaii has been serving Hawaii’s communities for over 60 years, providing essential life safety systems. They are seeking a dedicated Fire Systems Inspector to perform inspections and testing on fire alarm and suppression systems to ensure compliance with NFPA standards.

Responsibilities
Inspect and test fire alarms, suppression systems, and extinguishers across your assigned territory
Schedule and coordinate inspection visits with customers and local fire departments
Identify and troubleshoot system issues, making repairs or referring to our service team as needed
Clearly communicate inspection results and recommendations to customers
Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with NFPA standards
Adhere to all company and industry safety policies
Be ready to pitch in with other duties as needed—teamwork is everything here
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or GED
Valid Hawaii driver's license with a clean driving record
Ability to pass a background check and drug screening
Strong customer service and communication skills
Preferred
experience with fire alarms, security systems, or low-voltage installations
understanding of wiring, networking, or reading blueprints
industry certifications (NICET, ESA, manufacturer training)
Basic Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Outlook)
