Blue Shield of California is seeking a Principal Financial Analyst to join their Stellarus Finance team. The primary responsibility of this role is to develop costing models for Stellarus products and assist in defining pricing and margin goals, while collaborating with various teams to generate profitability statements.

Responsibilities

Develop the costing models for Stellarus products
Help define pricing and margin goals for the business
Develop a cost allocation model
Group direct costs into cost centers and financial systems to determine product and customer profitability
Partner closely with the Stellarus finance team and the Ascendiun financial systems team
Define the systems build needed to generate product and customer profit and loss statements
Partner closely with the product management team to help drive pricing decisions
Support requests for proposal and corporate development transactions

Experience in financial reporting and analysis
Ability to develop costing models for products

Ability to generate product and customer profit and loss statements
Experience in supporting pricing decisions
