Parkview Health is seeking a MyWell-Being Summer Non-Clinical Intern to support the development and implementation of wellness programs for coworkers. The intern will focus on promoting exercise-related opportunities and assist in planning events while working under the supervision of the department Supervisor and Coordinator.

Responsibilities

Support the development and implementation of wellness programs and resources for Parkview Health coworkers

Assist in the planning and execution of MyWell-Being Intramural events

Contribute to the promotion and utilization of the Parkview BikeShare program on the PRMC campus

Create bi-weekly blog postings for the MyWell-Being SharePoint page

Support the Parkview Pacers, Walk Across Indiana Challenge, and Walking Club

Required

Must be current undergraduate college student or graduate college student

GPA of 3.0 or above

Preferred

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Strong communication skills, including one-on-one engagement and small group presentations

Detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

Adaptable and able to shift focus as priorities change

Students pursuing degrees in health and wellness–related fields are strongly encouraged to apply, including: Health and Wellness, Health Science, Health Education, Exercise Physiology, Kinesiology, Dietetics, Athletic Training, Public Health
