Responsibilities

In this position, the individual will be responsible for development of the future generation of 3D NAND flash
The individual will contribute to defining new device architectures, developing scaling paths, process improvement and novel device operating strategy for cutting edge memory technologies
The scope includes development of new types of device, design and process architectures involving novel materials, structures and operating algorithm to deliver industry leadership in performance, reliability, power and cost
The individual will be responsible for understanding the existing technology limitation from first principle and creating innovative idea to solve problems

Required

PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Applied Physics, or a related field. New or recent graduates with availability to start in July 2026 or later
It requires in-depth knowledge of semiconductor device physics and/or nano-electronics
The ideal individual must have proven ability to achieve results in a fast moving, dynamic environment
Good Problem-solving skills demonstrating good analytical capabilities, sound technical foundations, and creativity
Feel comfortable to solve new problems outside your domain
Familiarity with coding languages (such as Python and Perl) and statistical analysis software (such as Spotfire, Jump) is an advantage
Knowledge of non-volatile memory and/or emerging memory is a plus

Preferred

Excellent writing, editing, communication and presentation skills
Detail-oriented and organized
Ability to work with multiple stakeholders and manage deadlines across projects
