UICGS / Bowhead Family of Companies is seeking a Web Developer to support the Pacific Installation Geospatial Engineering Office. The role involves providing geospatial solutions and modifying or creating web mapping applications to enhance the geospatial information structure for Air Force installations.

Responsibilities

Modify or create new web mapping applications using JavaScript, Dojo AMD, HTML5, CSS
Demonstrate proficiency with server-side software to include Internet Information Server (IIS), ArcSDE, ArcGIS Server, Oracle
Troubleshooting desktop, web, database, server problems in a DoD environment
Demonstrate proficiency with other web development technologies including but not limited to HTML5, CSS, JSP, ASP, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, REST, SQL, etc

Required

Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field
Five (5+) years of experience using, configuring, and administering Esri's ArcGIS desktop and server solutions
Strong communication (written, verbal, public speaking) skills
Willingness to work as a part of a team
CompTIA's Security+ certification
Must be able to obtain and maintain a security clearance at the Secret level
US Citizenship is a requirement for Secret clearance at this location

Preferred

M.S. degree in a Scientific or Technical discipline
Experience with and knowledge of advanced relational database concepts
Experience with the DAF GEO Program
Proficiency with other web development technologies including but not limited to HTML, HTML5, CSS, JSP, ASP, JavaScript, AJAX, JSON, REST, SQL, etc
Experience with Web design, user friendly interface
Familiarity with SharePoint, Tomcat, JDK, JK
Experience with securing web mapping applications
Proficiency with configuring and administering Oracle databases
Knowledge of SDSFIE
Ability to produce technical documentation
