CT Tech - Per Diem
Universal Health Services, Inc. (UHS) is one of the nation’s largest providers of hospital and healthcare services. The CT Technologist will perform a variety of imaging procedures under the direction of a Radiologist, ensuring quality patient care and optimal imaging results.

Responsibilities
The CT Technologist performs a variety of imaging procedures within the Imaging department, providing specialized scanning utilizing appropriate techniques and protocols
CT Technologist performs under the general direction of a Radiologist and Imaging department leadership
The CT Technologist is responsible for demonstrating Service Excellence while providing safe, quality patient care for all patients receiving imaging services
This includes, but not limited to, capturing optimal images, collaboration with clinical team members, assisting the physician in the diagnosis of the patient’s condition or health complaint, other duties as necessary to facilitate Imaging service delivery
Qualification
Required
Diploma from a certified school of radiologic technology
Active California Radiology Technologist (CRT) license
Computerized Tomography certification ARRT (CT)
Current BLS certification
Fluoroscopy license required within 1 year of hire
Active American Registry of Radiology Technologists (ARRT) license
Preferred
Venipuncture certification preferred
Minimum one-year experience as a CT Technologist preferred
Experience in an acute care facility preferred
